Grandma Bates Rhubarb Sauce

This is a simple, delightful recipe. George grew up eating this, and it's probably the reason he loves rhubarb so much. Thank you Grandma Bates! We just LOVE rhubarb around here. Usually it goes straight into pie, but sometimes if we have extra, we turn it into this sauce. It is great on toast or ice cream or straight from the jar :)

4 cups Rhubarb, chopped into 1" pieces
2 T. water
1 c. sugar

Throw into a pot on medium heat and cover. Once the rhubarb has 'loosened up' simmer for 20 mins or until you have the desired consistency.
