2 cans pork & beans
2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 lb. bacon
2 small onions, chopped
3 cups celery, chopped
2 green bell peppers, chopped
6 Tbsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 cups ketchup
In 8 quart dutch oven brown the bacon. Add the onion and saute until clear. Add the beef and brown it. Add veggies and beans. I like to rinse the beans (not the pork and beans) make sure to replace the liquid in the can, so they don't turn out too dry. Add the rest of the ingredients. Stir. Cook in oven at 350F for 2 hours. Yields about 6 quarts of beans. Yum!
